Reviewer's Review

Usually, the opponent in his review describes in detail the following things:

  • how relevant are the main paytowritepaper provisions of the Ph.D. thesis, how accurate and justified the results are, how reliable the results are, what is their novelty and practical value;

  • the relevance of the chosen research topic, here the reviewer indicates how correctly the student can use various methods of scientific research;

  • the presence of errors in the design and presentation of the Ph.D. thesis;

  • then, like the supervisor, the opponent also puts up his own assessment of the work he read;

  • at the end of his review, the dissertator writes to what extent this work follows the requirements that apply to the design of a candidate's dissertation.

As can be seen from the information presented just above, the reviewer's review is usually more detailed and critical than the supervisor's review. With the help of an opponent's review, you can look at the strengths and weaknesses of a student's dissertation work from a distance. Ultimately, the opinion of the opponent is also taken into account by the state certification commission, as well as the submitted document from the supervisor.

SAC assessment

The State Attestation Commission evaluates the finished work, as well as the prepared report of the undergraduate. In assessment, the SAC is guided by the following determinants:

  • how relevant the topic of the study is, as well as to what extent it is disclosed in the text;

  • how accurately the goals and objectives are set;

  • whether the results obtained are of high quality and reliable;

  • how relevant the work itself is, whether it presents scientific novelty, and how practically valuable it is;

  • whether the topic corresponds to the preparation of the student's direction;

  • how well the dissertation is designed;

  • completeness and accuracy of the dissertation's answer to the defense of the candidate's thesis;

  • the quality of the prepared report for defense;

  • study of materials submitted by the reviewer and supervisor.

With a brilliant defense of scientific work, the attestation commission may recommend using the results of the dissertation for further implementation or for publication in scientific journals. And a dissertation student who successfully defended his work can begin to collect materials for writing a doctoral dissertation.
