I will be a new librarian this Fall 2021 after being a classroom teacher for the last 10 years. I am really excited about this new adventure. I am mom to three girls and my youngest just graduated from high school, so I feel like I have more freedom to focus on my own learning and growth for awhile. I am also currently working on my MLS but the district I am in needs librarians so I've been hired into the "Grow Your Own Librarian" program which allows me to work for them in that capacity while also working on my degree. :)) My friend who is a retired librarian directed me to this site and said it would be a great one for me to be involved with.
